1. Pricing and Availability
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that pricing and availability information on our website is accurate. If we detect an error in the price or availability of a purchased product we will notify the purchaser as soon as possible. The purchaser will be given the option to reconfirm their order at the correct price or cancel their order if the correct price and current availability is unsuitable. A full refund will be offered as per our returns and refunds policy.
2. Merch Images
All merch product images are mockups that represent the product on sale. They are offered as a guide only and the actual item may differ in appearance.
3. Product Descriptions
We will make every reasonable effort to ensure that merch product information, such as sizing and garment materials, is accurate. However, we do not guarantee that product descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable or error-free. If a purchase product is not as described you will be able to exchange it as per our returns and refunds policy.
4. Discount Codes
We may at times offer discounts and special offers that can be redeemed at checkout using promotional discount codes. Discount codes will apply to shopping cart contents. Discount codes will not apply to shipping costs. Information about other usage restrictions and expiration dates will be provided at time of issue.
5. Processing and Fulfilment
Order processing and fulfilment times vary depending on demand and stock availability. We cannot guarantee processing and fulfilment times. If you require an order to be received by a particular date please email us and we will advise whether this is possible.
6. Shipping services
Australian orders will be sent by local courier or Australia Post. Delivery to metro areas is usually 1-3 days from the date the parcel is sent, however this is only a guide and can vary.
7. Delivery
Although we provide an estimated delivery schedule, we do not guarantee that delivery will occur within this timeframe. Delivery times will be subject to product availability, the capacity of the nominated shipping service, customs clearance and external delays such as adverse weather. We will not be responsible for product loss or damage caused by a shipping service. However we may replace or exchange a product lost or damaged in transit at our discretion as per our returns and refunds policy.
8. Returns and Refunds
Weekend Birder will offer an exchange or refund if there is a problem with a purchase. An exchange or refund will not be offered if a customer has simply had a change of mind or if you have misjudged your size. Under Australian Consumer Law products must have a major flaw to be eligible for exchange or refund, so please choose purchases carefully.
Customers requesting an exchange will be required to return their purchase by standard mail. Postage costs will be reimbursed once the product is received. Returned products will not be accepted if we determine that a customer has damaged them. It may take at least three weeks for replacement goods to be delivered.
Refunds may be issued without requiring a return. This will be at our discretion.

9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We do not sell, share or trade your electronic information to others. Any personal information provided or collected through our site is controlled by Weekend Birder and will be primarily used to inform you of our products, events and sales.
Personal information may be provided to manufacturers, shipping services and online payment services. This information is used for the sole purpose of facilitating and completing customer orders.
10. Monthly Letter
Customers have the choice of registering personal details in order to receive the product information. Our website contains a form to subscribe to the Weekend Birder Monthly Letter. Customers are also given the option to subscribe to the newsletter during checkout. Monthly Letter subscription information is stored by Squarespace and subject to its privacy policy.
We may collect automated information when you visit our website. This includes cookies, pixel tags and similar automated technology. This automated information may be used in our internet marketing channels to monitor website traffic, determine general customer preferences and deliver web advertising. We do not use automated information to identify individual website visitors. All automated information collected is subject to the privacy policies of third-party services such as Facebook and Google.
11. Monthly Letter Terms and Conditions
By subscribing to the Weekend Birder Monthly Letter, you accept that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and that we may amend them from time to time. Reasonable effort will be made to ensure the accuracy of information contained in the Letter. However we reserve the right to amend this information without notice. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information and take no responsibility for information provided through external links. The Monthly Letter contains links where you can update your preferences or cancel your subscription.
12. Maintenance
Weekend Birder may cease, interrupt or withdraw access to the site for any reason, including upgrades and site maintenance.
13. Copyright
Weekend Birder content, including all ideas, designs, photographs, text, audio, video, documents and any other material are subject to the copyright laws of Australia.
