Meet-ups

Go on an adventure with other bird lovers.

Weekend Birder Meet-ups are exclusive birdwatching experiences in collaboration with birdwatching groups and tour guides across Australia, with a focus on budget-friendly options. I'll do the research, find local guides and put together the itinerary. You'll organise your own transport, accommodation, insurance (if needed), and bring your own food. These meet-ups are perfect for beginners and experienced birders alike. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.

Looking forward to meeting up with you,
Kirsty Costa

Saturday 22 February, 6:00 - 7:30pm with the Sydney Bird Club (1.5 hours)

Sydney Bird Club was founded to help people discover the magical world of Australian birds. They scope out great places to vsiti and then take casual birdwatchers through the steps to become full blown twitchers. This exclusive Sydney Bird Club walk will take place at sunset at a soon-to-be-announced location. I can’t wait to hang out with you in Sydney!

September 2025, Broken Hill

Birdwatching in Broken Hill offers a unique outback experience. Its diverse landscapes, from arid plains and red ranges to wetlands and river systems, provide opportunities to observe a wide range of bird species. We will explore eBird hot spots and have exclusive access to a large private outback property. Birdwatching will happen mainly in the morning so that you’ve got time for leisure and relaxation in the afternoon. You could attend solo or bring a friend or partner. You are also welcome to incorporate this Meet-up into a family/friends adventure, with your companions enjoying other activities while you're birding.
