About Weekend Birder

Weekend Birder is Australia’s most listened-to nature podcast, hosted by Kirsty Costa.

Birds are part of our daily lives, from our backyards and local parks to city streets, waterways and beaches. We hear them through our windows and see them on the way to work, often without noticing what they’re doing.

Discover the fascinating lives of Australian birds with Weekend Birder. Whether you’re completely new to noticing birds or you’ve been birdwatching for years, there’s always always something interesting to discover.
